Veron Mosengo-Omba Alleged Feuds with CAF
Mosengo-Omba’s resignation comes after a series of high-profile allegations and internal disputes that have surrounded his tenure at CAF.
He was investigated by Swiss authorities over claims of suspicious payments, alleged excessive bonuses, and possible financial misconduct, accusations he consistently denied, insisting all payments were legitimate and transparent.
Reports and investigations alleged governance issues, including claims that he interfered with oversight processes, fostered a toxic work environment, and sidelined internal committees.

“Now that I have been able to dispel the suspicions that some people have gone to great lengths to cast on me, I can retire with peace of mind and without constraint, leaving the CAF more prosperous than ever,” stated Veron
