Kibera Soccer Women FC will host Mathare United Women FC on September 27, in one of five FKF Women’s Premier League scheduled matches.
The match is set for 12:00 pm at Police Sacco Stadium, with both Nairobi sides heading into the match after winning their opening matches of the 2026/27 campaign.
Kibera Soccer sit fourth in the FKF Women’s Premier League table with three points. In comparison, Mathare United are second on goal difference after also collecting three points from their opening fixture.
Kenya Police Bullets lead the table on goal difference after their opening-day victory.
The match will also mark Mathare United Women’s second appearance in the top flight after returning to the Women’s Premier League following four seasons away.
FKF WPL Scheduled Matches, Date and Venue
The Kibera Soccer-Mathare United encounter is one of five Women’s Premier League matches scheduled for September 27.
At 1:00 pm, Bungoma Queens will face Gideon Starlets at Sudi Stadium, while Vihiga Queens take on Ulinzi Starlets at Mumias Sports Complex.
The day’s other Nairobi fixture will see Kayole Starlets face Trinity Starlets at 3:00 pm at Police Sacco Stadium.
At the same time, Zetech Sparks will meet defending champions Kenya Police Bullets at Dandora Stadium.

Police Bullets Lead After Opening Round
Police Bullets began their title defense with a 6-0 victory over Bungoma Queens at Police Sacco Grounds on September 19.
Mathare United defeated Vihiga Queens 3-1 at Kasarani Annex, while Ulinzi Starlets beat Gideon Starlets 2-0 at Raila Odinga Stadium.
Kibera Soccer also opened their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Trinity Starlets at Afraha Stadium.
The September 20 matches saw Kayole Starlets draw 2-2 with Shabana Starlets, while Zetech Sparks defeated Elim White Ladies 3-1.
How Kibera Soccer and Mathare United Reached the Fixture
Kibera Soccer began their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Trinity Starlets on September 19 at Afraha Stadium.
With the win, Kibera earned all three points and joined the teams that started the new season with victories.
Mathare United, meanwhile, produced one of the opening round’s results after defeating four-time champions Vihiga Queens 3-1 at Kasarani Annex.
Vihiga took the lead through Josephine Werenga before Mathare United’s Sylvia Otieno and Mitchell Waithera equalized for Mathare United.
Mathare’s promotion followed their successful 2025/26 campaign in the FKF Women’s National Super League.
The club won Zone A, earning automatic promotion to the Women’s Premier League alongside Shabana Starlets.
Elim White Ladies secured the third promotion spot in the playoffs.
Mathare coach Ann Aluoch has since called for improved finishing after the team created several chances against Vihiga.
“We got numerous scoring chances but only utilized three. It could be that there was a bit of anxiety because we were meeting four-time champions, so the players were not so sure about the outcome of the fixture. But we will work on that,” Aluoch said.
