Zelenskyy’s Ukrainian forces have continued to maintain strong defensive operations, successfully repelling enemy attacks and inflicting significant losses on Russian troops.
Over the past week, Ukrainian units eliminated 370 occupying forces, destroyed or damaged 86 vehicles, 20 artillery systems, and nearly 1,400 attack drones, according to the 7th Air Assault Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the north-western industrial zone, Ukrainian defenders actively prevented Russian forces from concentrating for assaults on key positions.
One of the priority targets for the enemy, the village of Hryshyne, remained under Ukrainian control due to these defensive measures.
Continuous monitoring and tactical positioning have restricted the enemy’s ability to execute coordinated attacks in this area.
Ukrainian Forces Maintain Containment Operations Against Russia
In urban areas, Ukrainian forces maintained containment operations against Russian units. In Myrnohrad, defenders held the northern part of the city, restricting the movement of Russian troops.
Meanwhile, Russian forces were observed accumulating equipment and reinforcements in nearby areas, including Novohrodivka, south of Myrnohrad.

Ukrainian units continue to monitor these developments while preventing advances into strategic locations.
The reported losses have affected several Russian units, including airborne forces, prompting plans to replenish personnel in multiple phases by the end of the month.
The scale of destroyed or damaged equipment, including vehicles, artillery, and drones, underscores the intensity of ongoing defensive operations.
Ukrainian forces’ sustained resistance highlights their ability to disrupt enemy plans and inflict significant attrition while protecting critical positions.
The combination of tactical containment, active defence, and targeting of equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles has limited the operational capabilities of Russian forces in the region.
The 7th Air Assault Corps emphasised that defensive efforts will continue to focus on maintaining control over strategic zones and preventing enemy breakthroughs.
