The Public Service Commission (PSC) on August 22 shortlisted candidates for the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) member position. The names included former politicians.
According to PSC, the nine who made it to the shortlist include Michael Thoyah Kingi, Mary Yiane Seneta, Abdul Bahari Ali, and Richard Chacha Boke. Others are Zulekha Juma Hassan, Kosiom Frank Kibelekenya, Abubakar Ketemon Lewano, Susan Chepksir Chongo Nakoru, and Teresiah Jerusah Michael.
The commission noted that the interviews will take place on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the PSC’s headquarters on Harambee Avenue, Nairobi.
“The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at the Public Service Commission … on the date and time indicated,” read part of the PSC notice.
“Candidates should be at the venue at least 30 minutes before the starting time.” It emphasised.
This comes after the PSC, on March 18, invited applications from suitably qualified Kenyans wishing to be nominated by the SRC commission as a member.
