The former Member of parliament expressed his disappointment as he blamed the government for using the systems to blackmail him.
In a statement on via his Twitter(X) account, Swarup claimed that he has been leaving on his knees and was being politically targeted
“After 2 years of living on my knees under constant threat and losing millions to systemic blackmail; I wake up to find everything I’ve worked for over 20 years is being auctioned Where are we headed as Kenyans?
Mishra went ahead to lament that there were many other Kenyans who have been politically targeted and blackmailed because of their hard-earned properties.
Am I the only political target? NO. We are many,” stated Mishra.

Additionally, the former MP attached a photo of an auction advert indicating that there was another bid on his parcels of land set to happen on 22nd, July,2024.
” Under instructions received from our principles the charges acting upon the statutory power of sale conferred upon them, we shall sell the under mentioned properties by public auction starting at GAM on Monday 22 Nd July 2024 in front of Bank of India at Tarita center building,” part of the advert.

Eshikhoni auctioneers stated that, among parcels of land to be bided on 22nd included a land in Eldoret MUN/BLOCK8/774 measuring 0.5336 HA registered under the name of Mediheal Hospital and Fertility Center limited, a piece of land known LR 7914/123, LR 2207311.588HA LR 7914/124: LR 220732. measuring 1223 HA & LR 7914/125: LR 220733 measuring 1243HA, all registered in the name Mediheal Medical Centre.
The properties are located in Kiporgot Market along Kaptaget Tarmac Road in Eldoret Municipality, 5 kilometers away from Eldoret Town, adjoins Springfield Estate of Moi University.
Likewise, another piece of land to be auctioned is all that piece of land known as Cheptiret/Kipchambo block 2( Mogobich) measuring 3.91 HA registered in name of Swarup Rajan Mishra & Pallavi located at Chepsiria village.
The property is used for agricultural /residential and is developed with a servant quarter, pit latrine, green house and an orchid.
Mediheal Hospital Auctioned
Previously, the Mediheal hospital owner, had lost 10 vehicles to auctioneers in Nakuru due to salary arrears in the tune of Ksh53million owed to 17 doctors and other staff.
Prior to this there had been rumors that the hospital had been struggling financially since 2022.

Additionally, the Kenya Renal Association raised concerns about unethical kidney transplants at the Ex-MP’s Hospital in Eldoret.
The association accused the hospital of involvement in kidney sales and transplant tourism, going against international health regulations and Kenya’s laws.
The Renal association recommended suspending the hospital’s license and licenses of medical staff involved and called for investigations, disciplinary actions, and legal proceedings against those found guilty.
