About the Grow with Safaricom Business forum
The forum, held under the theme Fuelling Financial Growth Through Innovation, brought together a diverse mix of entrepreneurs from Nairobi’s dynamic SME sector.
Attendees shared the common goal of growing their businesses, embracing innovation, and overcoming the challenges of operating in a fast-evolving economic environment.
According to data from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), more than 70% of small businesses in Kenya shut down within their first three years, mainly due to cash flow difficulties or limited market access.
These statistics highlight the urgent need for solutions that not only address immediate operational challenges but also help build long-term resilience.
Over the years, the Grow with Safaricom Business forums, held both physically and virtually, have reached thousands of entrepreneurs across Kenya.
The sessions focus on topics such as financial management, digitization, market expansion, and access to affordable technology.
By offering hands-on learning and networking opportunities, the forums aim to foster collaboration among business owners and connect them with partners who can support their growth journey.
