United States President Donald Trump has announced that he is withdrawing his support for Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
In a post on his Truth Social platform late Friday, November 14, Trump wrote, “I am withdrawing my support and endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the great state of Georgia.”
He added that all Greene did was “complain, complain, complain.”
He claimed that Greene turned on him after he suggested that she should not run for governor or senator.
“She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore,” Trump said, adding that he cannot take her “ranting” calls every day.
Trump also claimed that voters in her district “are fed up with her and her antics, and if the right person runs, they will have my complete and unyielding support.”
Greene, who has been a staunch supporter of Trump and even wore a MAGA hat to President Joe Biden’s 2024 State of the Union address, has recently taken positions that diverge from both Trump and her Republican colleagues.
She openly criticized the Trump administration during the recent federal government shutdown for failing to provide a plan to help people facing the loss of health insurance subsidies.
More prominently, Greene has become a vocal advocate for transparency regarding files related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a matter that continues to draw attention towards Trump.

Greene Calls Out Trump Over Epstein Files
Marjorie Taylor Greene is among four House Republicans—alongside Nancy Mace, Lauren Boebert, and Thomas Massie—who joined Democrats in signing a discharge petition aimed at forcing the release of files related to Epstein.
Responding to Trump’s criticism, Greene claimed on X that he was targeting her to discourage other Republicans from supporting the petition.
“He’s going after me to set an example and intimidate other Republicans ahead of next week’s vote on the Epstein files,” Greene said.
“It’s remarkable how much effort he’s putting in to prevent these files from being released.”
Greene suggested that her push for the release of these files contributed to Trump’s decision to withdraw support.
However, Trump has repeatedly denied any involvement in Epstein’s criminal activities.
The US President was long associated with Jeffrey Epstein, though he has said the two fell out in the early 2000s, two years before Epstein’s first arrest.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Loyalty to Trump
In a Truth Social post on June 19, 2025, Trump accused Fox News of being biased, promoting fake polls, and spreading negativity.
“Fox News Polls got the election wrong; I won by much more than they said I would, and have been biased against me for years. They are always wrong and negative,” Trump posted.
Marjorie Taylor Greene said the news agency is full of propaganda and supports foreign wars.
“We have propaganda news on our side, just like the left does, and the American people have been brainwashed into believing that America has to engage in these foreign wars for us to survive, and it’s not true,” Greene added.
