The Public Service Board of Samburu County has announced vacancies in the County Public Service and invited qualified and interested Kenyans to apply.
In an advertisement on Friday 23, the County Public Service Board Chief Executive Officer announced 47 openings within different departments.
“The Samburu County Public Service Board invites applications from qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions in the County Government of Samburu, “the notice stated.
At the same time, the devolved unit advertised openings for permanent and pensionable jobs, as well as some on a contract basis.
Among the permanent and pensionable jobs, they include Quantity Survey Assistant II (1), Land Survey Assistant II (4) and Geospatial Data Officer II (1).
Samburu County vacancies
Other permanent and pensionable positions according to the County Public Service Board include Inspector Water Engineer (2), Ground Water Inspector (1), Assistant Water Engineer (2) and Ground Water Inspector (1).
There are also vacancies in the communication department, including Deputy Director Communication (1), Deputy Director Performance Management (1), Deputy Director Governor Press Service (1) and Director Performance Management (1).
Contract-based vacancies
On the other hand, the County has announced contract-based vacancies.
Among them are Protocol Officer II (3), Protocol Officer III (6), Information Officer (2), Field Officers (3) and Deputy Director of Communication (1)
Other vacancies
In the health department, the County Government has announced vacancies for permanent and pensionable medical officers, medical specialists, registered clinical officers, Kenya registered community health nurses, general surgeons and a physician.

In addition, there are vacancies for Accountant II, Internal Auditor II, Deputy Director of Sports and Youth Affairs and Deputy Director of Fleet Management.
How to Apply
According to the Public Service Board, eligible candidates should submit their applications with copies of academic and professional certificates and other testimonials.
Each application should include a detailed current curriculum vitae, certified copies of relevant academic and professional certificates and testimonials, copies of a national identity card or a valid passport, and current telephone numbers and other relevant supporting documents
Application should be clearly marked “Application for the Position of Member, Samburu County Public Service Board”.

Additionally, applications should reach the Chairperson- Selection Panel by 5.00 pm, East African time, on or before 25th March 2025
