A special team of detectives has been dispatched to Nakuru to pursue a gang behind a series of killings targeting women in the area.
In the past two weeks, five women have been murdered in bizarre circumstances in Mawanga estate in Nakuru
All of them were killed in broad daylight in their houses.
At least some 27 suspects have since been arrested in connection to the killings and robberies.
The gang has been sneaking into houses during the day before raping and later killing them.
Some of the victims had their bodies burnt.
Speaking in Kisii on Saturday, Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi said detectives will camp in Nakuru until the gang is crashed.
The dreaded confirm gang operating within Urban Nakuru is being blamed for the killings.
