Kenyans are conducting a fundraiser in preparation of Lawyer Miguna Miguna’s grand homecoming on October 20, 2022.
Moreover, a flyer asking Kenyans to contribute for the Lawyers homecoming has been making rounds online, with details on how one can contribute.
However, the flyer was received with doubt by some Kenyans online, who reached out to Miguna Miguna to confirm its authenticity.
In a quick response, Miguna cleared the air saying that he only associates with people of integrity and that the fundraisers are not conmen.
“They are not conmen. They are honest Kenyans trying to raise funds legally from those willing to give freely in order to accord me the homecoming they are planning. There is nothing dishonest about that. I only associate with people of integrity. And this is integrity,” he Tweeted on Saturday.

In addition, Miguna had officially announced that he will be flying back into the country on October 20, 2022.
He made his travelling announcement after he finally received his passport, ending his 5-year long woes since his deportation to Canada in 22018.
The outspoken lawyer was deported after participating in the mock swearing-in of opposition leader Raila Odinga as the ‘People’s President’ at Uhuru Park.
Nonetheless, Miguna thanked President William Ruto for ensuring the processing of his passport as well as facilitating his return to Kenya.
