Mombasa-based musician Chikuku Abdhalla, known to many as Chikuzee has accepted Jesus Christ as the Saviour of his life.
Chikuzee, as The Kenya Times has learnt recently gave his life to Christ after lifelong commitment to Islam.
The good news was first made public by his colleague in the music industry Cannibal The Chosen One.
Cannibal who had earlier shifted from secular music to gospel shared a video of several people praying for Chikuzee was had knelt.
On the caption, Cannibal lauded Chikuzee for the impressive decision as he welcomed him to Christianity.
“Confession is made unto salvation, for the gospel is the power of God into salvation. Welcome to the Kingdom my brother Chikuzee. Only one name that a man should be saved, it is the name of Jesus and Jesus is Lord over your life. Glory to God,” Cannibal wrote.

The latest development sparked debates online with many people, especially Christians welcoming him to Christianity.
Others, however, mostly Muslims were not happy and pleaded with him to think twice about his decision.

This is not the first time Chikuzee is making headlines.
A couple of years ago, the singer divided netizens after it emerged, he had bleached his skin.
Many people trolled him for lightening his skin as they held such should only be done by women.
In his defense, Chikuzee denied bleaching his skin and insisted he was drinking a lot of water and avoiding direct sunlight.
