The Kenya Meteorological Department (KMD) has announced the regions expected to receive rainfall from Friday, November 21, to Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

In its forecast, the weather department warned that while most parts of the country are likely to be sunny and dry, isolated rainfall is still anticipated in specific areas, including the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the Coast, and the South-eastern lowlands.

Counties within the Highlands West of the Rift Valley, Lake Victoria Basin, and the Rift Valley include Siaya, Kisumu, Homabay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, and West Pokot.

These areas are forecast to experience partly cloudy nights throughout the period. Mornings from Friday through Sunday and again on Tuesday next week will feature sunny intervals.

Afternoon weather is expected to be dominated by sunny intervals, except on Friday, when showers and thunderstorms are forecast for a few places.

In addition, maximum temperatures in this region are expected to fluctuate between 29°C and 31°C, while minimum temperatures will range narrowly from 8 °C to 9 °C.
