The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has revealed photos of one of the suspects in Erick Maigo’s murder case, asking the public to help apprehend her.
The images shared on Thursday, September 21, are screenshots of CCTV footage showing the suspect in the compound of the apartment where the former Nairobi Hospital Finance Director Erick Maigo was found murdered.
According to the DCI, the woman was captured leaving Maigo’s residence at Woodley Annex after escaping through the back door.
Further, the lady is seen smiling as she walks over to the wall, climbing over a water tank and jumping over it.
“Following the gruesome murder of Dr Erick Maigo, in the wee hours of Friday September 15, 2023, detectives are appealing for information that may lead to the arrest of the woman whose images appear below.
“Two blood-stained knives believed to have been the murder weapons were recovered from the scene of crime,” the DCI statement read in part.
In addition, the Directorate has asked members of the public to volunteer any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect in the images.
“As detectives burn the midnight oil to arrest the female suspect, members of the public are requested to volunteer any information that may lead to his immediate arrest,” the statement added.

CCTV and KSh650
Earlier, on Wednesday, September 20, detectives released a CCTV footage that was retrieved from a popular entertainment club opened along Ngong Road linking three women to the case.
Additionally, detectives conducted an analysis of the deceased phone records and determined that he had sent Ksh650 to one of the women on the day of his death.
Moreover, DCI officers revealed that Maigo and the women left the Ngong Road club and went to another entertainment joint along Kilimani Road after which they went home to his Woodley house at around quarter past 10 pm.
Cynthia Andalo, the woman who received the Ksh650 from the deceased was arrested and arraigned under miscellaneous application on Monday September 18.

Erick Maigo Murder
Erick Maigo was found dead at his apartment on Thursday, September 14. Police officers recovered two kitchen knives next to his body and reported that both knives had the same sets of fingerprints.
Further, the police detailed that Maigo had been stabbed 25 times on the neck, chest, face and other parts of his body. His death was reported by Nairobi Hospital CEO James Nyamongo through an internal memo after the recovery of his body.
