Former Kiss 100 presenter Shaffie Weru has opened up on why he has not considered going back to radio yet.
Speaking in an interview on KTN Home, Shaffie said that he had left a mark in radio broadcasting during his stints in the various stations.
However, the celebrated radio King presenter regretted that his radio career did not end on a good note.
Shaffie explained that it was only fit for him to give other people opportunities to be radio presenters after having his illustrious stint.
In addition, the former Homeboyz Radio and Kiss 100 presenter said that he doubts whether any of the media stations would manage to pay him.
“I believe in giving other people opportunities. I did my stint, and it ended the way it ended, not on a good note,” Shaffie Weru said in the interview.
“Me going back to radio is not even crossing my mind anytime soon. But first of all, I doubt anyone can afford to get me back on radio,” he added.
Shaffie then went on to explain that things had changed and that it was possible to reach people through various platforms besides radio.
He hinted at bringing back his show, Shafted, noting that many people had been asking him about bringing back the show.
