2024 Fatalities
The crash adds to the string of tragic accidents reported on various roads since the beginning of 2024 that have left fatalities behind.
At least four people died on Saturday, February 3, in an accident where a matatu they were travelling in collided with a trailer at Marina area along the Nyeri-Nyahururu Road.
The matatu operating under the management of MTN Sacco was carrying members of the Catholic Women Action from St Peters Gaitega, Murang’a County, who were from visiting the Subukia Marian Shrine
The trailer, on its part, was carrying sand and hence the impact in the crash.
