Kristi Noem Reacts To Husband’s Secret Life Scandal

Former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has once again found herself in the spotlight amid her tenure as the Trump administration’s point person on border security and cartel disruption, taking a hit with a rapid demotion.

On March 5, President Trump replaced her at DHS and named her special envoy for the Shield of the Americas, a new initiative intended to build hemispheric partnerships against drug trafficking.

Now, new audio recordings obtained by the Daily Mail have brought her personal life into the public eye, raising new concerns among the national security experts about possible weaknesses involving her husband, Bryon Noem.

Explosive recordings.

The recordings, shared by adult performer Shy Sotomayor, who also goes by Raelynn Riley, capture more than nine years of paid telephone sessions with a man the Daily Mail identified as Bryon Noem, who used the alias Jason Jackson and paid via an email tied to “Chrystalballz666.”

The alleged audio tapes captured him speaking about his wish to live as a female named “Crystal.” He also made derogatory remarks about his spouse as he participated in sessions.

“I want to be a Crystal so bad,” he says in one exchange dated January 11, according to transcripts provided to the outlet.

In others, he is heard saying, “I want to be a woman so bad” and agrees to phrases such as “F*** your wife… she deserves this,” while referring to Sotomayor as his “goddess.”

The New York Post reported comparable language, including a statement that he wanted to become her “trans bimbo” partner.

Bryon Noem and Kristi Noem have been together for more than 30 years and have been blessed with three kids.

So far, he has not issued a public denial of the recordings’ authenticity; when previously approached about earlier cross-dressing photos linked to a “bimbofication” fetish, he told The New York Times he planned to address the matter “at some point” but “today is not the day.”

Kristi Noem’s office said after the initial reports in late March that the family was “blindsided” and “devastated.” Neither has commented on Friday’s audio disclosures.

Security experts cited by multiple outlets have flagged the potential for blackmail or foreign influence, given Kristi Noem’s prior access to classified information on immigration enforcement, ICE operations, and cartel intelligence during her time leading DHS.

Another recording allegedly features the individual panicking while talking about ICE issues at his residence. However, there has been no indication that a foreign entity accessed the information or that any classified information was leaked.

The revelations arrive as Noem, 54, works to establish herself in the envoy role, which entails coordinating with Latin American governments on returns of migrants and anti-cartel efforts.

She signed an initial agreement with Costa Rica in March to accept third-country deportees and has emphasized continuity in her public statements.

Noem had established herself on the national stage as a straight-laced conservative. As the former governor of South Dakota, she was known for supporting tight border controls, Second Amendment rights, and family values.

The way she was perceived by society was completely opposite to the character portrayed behind closed doors, where her husband reportedly engaged in fantasies of humiliation aimed at her.

Kristi’s political friends remain silent.

Political allies have largely stayed silent, at least until today. Some South Dakota supporters have defended the family’s right to privacy, while critics on the left have pointed out perceived hypocrisy.

The surprising twist is being seen by many as a two-fold defeat for Kristi Noem. She had already been transferred from her role as a cabinet member to a more limited diplomatic task.

It is not yet clear whether the scandal will further restrict her authority in the administration’s Western Hemisphere security push.

Bryon and Kristi have made no joint public appearance since the initial reports surfaced in March.
