Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has revealed details of his upcoming political announcement, set to take place on February 9, 2025.
In a media interview, Gachagua, speaking in Kiswahili, stated that the meeting will be directed exclusively to the Mount Kenya region, after which he will begin addressing other regions.
Na mimi nimewaambia viongozi, kila mtu apange kwake vizuri,” he said.
Loosely translated, this means:
“On February 9, I will only be speaking to the people of Mount Kenya, not the whole of Kenya. If you want to organize politics properly, you should start by organizing at home. Once you are done, you sit down with the Mulembe people, the Ukambani people, the Kisii people, and the Kuria people. I have told leaders that everyone should organize their own region properly.”
