Vodacom Business Kenya Limited (In Liquidation) has announced that it will convene a virtual meeting of its members, marking the final stage in the winding-up of the company.
According to a notice published on Saturday, July 25, under the Insolvency Act, 2015, the meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (EAT) through an online platform.
“Take notice that the final general meeting of the members of The Vodacom Business Kenya Limited (In Liquidation) will be held virtually on Wednesday, 26 August 2026 at 12:00 PM EAT via an online platform to give an account of the liquidation of the Company,” read the notice in part.
According to the notice, the meeting has been convened to present members with an account of the liquidation process and formally conclude the company’s winding-up proceedings.
Vodacom Business Kenya is currently under the management of joint liquidators George Weru and Muniu Thoithi, acting on behalf of the company.
Members who intend to attend are supposed to confirm their participation by email by Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
Once registration is confirmed, they will receive the access link and login details for the virtual meeting.
“Members are requested to confirm their attendance by email using the details provided below. As the meeting will be held virtually, registered members will receive the relevant access and login details upon confirmation. Please provide confirmation by Wednesday, 19 August 2026,” the notice reads further.

The notice states that the joint liquidators will circulate the account of the liquidation to registered members before the meeting.
Members who do not receive the document by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, have been advised to request a copy through the email address provided in the notice, [email protected].
Shareholders who are unable to attend the meeting may appoint a proxy to represent them.
The notice further states that the joint liquidators are acting on behalf of the company without any personal liability.
The liquidation is being handled by joint liquidators George Weru and Muniu Thoithi, with correspondence directed through PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Nairobi.
