Investigations have been launched by police officers in Likuyani, Kakamega County, after a man allegedly strangled his wife to death.
While confirming the incident, the area Assistant Chief Maurice Mukopi reported that, the suspect identified as Ambrose Nyongesa strangled his wife to death over an unknown reason.

Moreover, the incident occurred in Binyenya village in Moi’s Bridge, Kakamega County.
“I received a call from the area Nyumba Kumi representative who informed me about the incident. I rushed to the scene to ascertain what transpired,” Mukopi stated.

Furthermore, the assistant chief said that the 27-year-old suspect turned himself in at Matunda Police Station after allegedly committing the crime.

The victim identified as Daisy Chepkurui was 25 years old.
“The two have been living together for at least five months now. Police are conducting investigations to establish the motive behind the killing,” Mukopi told Citizen Digital.
Nonetheless, the body of the deceased was moved to Kitale County Referral Hospital mortuary.
