Musician and content creator Kevin Kioko, also known as Bahati, has shared a message written by Diana Marua (Diana B) regarding their seven-year marriage.
Bahati on his social media platforms shared a statement made by Diana B recalling how they met and started dating.
In the letter, Diana B stated that she was in a wrong relationship at that time and prayed for a husband before Bahati came her way.
“Who is Diana? I remember like it was yesterday, a lonely day full of unfulfillment about the choices I made in my life, I was in wrong relationships that had no value in my life,” he said.
Diana said she was sure that she was worthy of being someone’s wife and pledged to wait for the perfect opportunity.
“This day, I wrote the date on stone and told God, I know I’m worthy to be called someone’s wife, I am worthy for someone to be proud of me and show me off to the world with so much pride. I told God, I’ll wait on you… I know I’m worth it,” the letter shared by Bahati reads in part.
Diana B Meets Bahati
In the statement, Diana revealed that she received a call from this Gospel artist an hour after the prayer.
According to Diana B, the musician wanted him to appear on his music video as a vixen walking down the aisle to make a “heavenly commitment”.
“We talked, I was hesitant, he insisted that we meet. Little did I know that God was listening to me, and that he had already made plans,” the letter further reads.
“The next day, I was on his set. We started hanging out and I loved and respected the God I saw in Him. So real yet so un-judging, a free spirit. I looked forward to our next meet ups and the rest was history.”

Marriage & Kids
She explained that they still love and cherish one another despite the challenges they have encountered in their marriage.
“7 years down the line, we are blessed with five kids, we’ve loved each other through the bad, the worst and the toughest and one thing still stands out, he has never given up fighting for me. I am his Queen, and he is My King,” she said.
Diana maintained that they have accomplished a lot as a couple, the latest being ‘The Bahati Empire’ reality show on Netflix which revolves around Bahati and his family.
The show premiered on Netflix on June 7 the same day the Bahati’s launched it in an event attended by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Lang’ata Mp Phelix Odiwuor (Jalang’o) and nominated Senator Karen Nyamu among other celebrities and content creators.

Bahati’s Previous Posts Spark Reactions
The launch came after Bahati and Diana B shared cryptic messages about their relationship on social media, sparking reactions from their fans and critics.
In the first post, Bahati shared an old photograph of his wife with a former footballer and captioned it with a “heart break” emoji.
He then shared another photo of his baby mama, Yvette Obura, and their daughter, Faith Mueni, dressed in her graduation gown with the caption “I wish I knew”.
Facebook user Gwatto criticized the Bahati’s for using their past life experiences to clout chase.
“I won’t bring my ex-stories in my current relationship,” Gwatto replied.
Another user named Kelly Inspiration told the musician to desist from using his family to attract attention on social media.
“One day you will wish it was a prank, unfortunately it will be a reality. There are things you don’t joke with, otherwise the devil will sponsor the prophecy to come to pass,” the user said.
Musician and Businessman KRG The Don commented saying “I told you Bahati ukiona mimi najikalisha mimi sio mjinga.”
This loosely translates to “I told you Bahati, when you see me staying alone, I’m not a fool.”
Radio presenter Alex Mwakideu wrote; “From a big brother; Whatever is going on, please do not involve your kids. Please.”
The couple had even unfollowed each other on Instagram, but this was not enough proof that they had separated.
