This development follows NRG Radio’s long-standing competition dubbed NRG Wild MVPs, which invited young creators to submit their entries for a chance to win a job as a radio host with the station.
Kapinto shared his excitement about joining NRG radio in a statement on his social media platforms.
He declared, “Kapinto iconic moves episode 59: Introducing Kapinto loudest presenter wa NRG…on Thursday we are live at 10 AM!!”
Kapinto’s new show which is dubbed NRG Pepeya is set to premiere on Thursday at 10 AM to 10:30 AM, where he will join fellow hosts Angie Chege, DJ Nexas, and MC Jaguider.
Fans of Kapinto are eagerly awaiting his new show, looking forward to the unique perspective and energy he will bring to the station.

“It all began around 2021 when I uploaded one of my clips on TikTok and it went viral. Honestly, I was expecting it to go viral, but I wasn’t expecting people to laugh since I was so serious! “
The clip, featuring Kapinto humorously declaring his resolve to find money if it doesn’t come to him, struck a chord with audiences, launching him into the world of online fame.
“The clip was about me saying how broke I was and that if money won’t find me, I’d go find it myself, but anyway, the journey has been quite amazing and I’m so grateful for how far I’ve reached,” said Kapinto.
