President William Ruto was sworn in on Tuesday, September 13, in a colourful inauguration attended by the high and mighty from all corners of the world.
The inauguration was followed by a luncheon at the State House, where several public figures showed up and mingled with power.
Among local celebrities who graced the luncheon was Mugithi star Samidoh.
Well, an excited Samidoh could not let the moment pass without splashing some photos of himself at the house on the hill.
In a Facebook post seen by The Kenya Times, Samidoh wrote;
“And Henceforth, we promised to carry ourselves in a manner that pleases the Lord.
,”
While his posts impressed most of his fans, a cross section of Kenyans had different opinions.
Some netizens picked issue with Samidoh, holding he is just an opportunist who is keen on riding on baby mama Karen Nyamu’s success.

Most insisted Samidoh would not have gotten the chance to even visit the State House were it not for Karen Nyamu’s recent nomination.
Some even hit him below the belt by insisting he was only at the State House to play babysitter to his child with Karen Nyamu.
Others noted Samidoh had been turned into a simp by Karen Nyamu, thanks to her wealth and connections.
It should be noted Samidoh and Karen have two children together.
Samidoh has three other children with his first wife, Edday.
