Marketable Short Courses to Study Immediately After Release of KCSE 2024

Computer Packages

Basic IT skills like Microsoft Office, internet use, and basic computer operations are essential for most modern jobs.

Knowledge in these areas will equip you with essential skills in word processing, spreadsheet management, and presentation software.

Foreign Languages

There are over 12 foreign languages you can learn in Kenya, most of which are considered highly marketable.

Th major foreign languages include Chinese, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Arabic and Russian.

This can even land them jobs as an international relations professional, foreign language interpreter, tour guide, hotel manager, journalist or a linguistic expert.

CPA

The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is regulated by the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB)

To enroll for the CPA program, candidates must have: a KCSE certificate with a minimum grade of C+.

Additionally, diploma or degree in a related field are an entry point.

CPA qualification is offered in three levels: Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced.

High school leavers can register for the Foundation Level which covers Financial Accounting, Communication Skills, Introduction to Law and Governance Economics, Quantitative Analysis and Information Communication Technology.
