Get a National Identification (ID) Card

Obtaining a National ID card is crucial for official transactions, applications, and for identification purposes.

To get an ID card, visit the Huduma Centre with your birth certificate and copy of parents/guardians ID Card.

However, orphans should carry their parent’s death certificates.

Opening a bank account is a fundamental step towards financial independence.

Further, it provides a secure space to manage your money, save for future endeavors, and access financial services.

To open an account, you typically need proof of identity (National ID card or passport), copy of Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) pin certificate, completed application form and minimum opening balances (varies in different banks).
