Moi High School Kabarak is a co-educational boarding school located in Kabarak, Nakuru County. It was established in 1979 by the late former President Daniel arap Moi and named after his nearby Kabarak farm.
The school was initially founded with the vision of providing affordable, high-quality education to Kenyan children and preparing them for college and life.

Each year, the school admits over 350 students based on academic merit and individual choice, in accordance with Kenya’s education policy.
Until 2023, admission was determined through performance in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination.
This was replaced by the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), introduced under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) framework.

It consistently ranks among the top schools nationally in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
In the 2024 KCSE, the school had 356 candidates, with more than 96% achieving the minimum university entry grade under full government sponsorship.

34 students scored a straight A, while 104 scored an A-. Additionally, 83 students attained a B+, 83 scored a B, while 34 managed a B-.
13 students scored a C+, 4 scored a C, and the lowest grade recorded was a C- obtained by just one student.
The school’s impressive performance saw the 2024 candidates achieve a mean score of 9.89 (B+).
