Multimedia University of Kenya (MMU) is a public university located about 25 kilometres south of Nairobi, just a short distance from Ongata Rongai town.
The campus building is right next to the Nairobi National Park.

MMU started out in 2008 as part of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), but became a fully accredited university in March 2013.

Multimedia University of Kenya (MMU) offers a diverse range of academic programs through six faculties, 15 departments, and five directorates.
These include Degree, Diploma, and Certificate levels, designed in alignment with national regulatory standards and industry needs to ensure relevance and quality in education.
