Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST) has announced of 36 positions across various academic departments, inviting qualified Kenyan citizens to apply.
The positions span a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, health sciences, information technology, agriculture, and entrepreneurship.
In a notice on July 8, the deadline for interested candidates is July 29.
The university seeks to fill roles at the ranks of Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, Tutorial Fellow, and Clinical Instructor as it expands its academic team in line with its mission to drive excellence in science, technology, and innovation.

Qualified and interested candidates should submit their applications online through the university’s official recruitment portal: https://recruitment.must.ac.ke.
All applications must be received by Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

Meru University Courses
Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST) is a public university that offers a variety of courses, including Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs.

The main campus is located 15 km from Meru Town along the Meru-Maua Road in Meru County. Additionally, the university has campuses in Meru Town at Hart Towers and a learning center at Marimba.
The University has 8 Schools which encompass the School of Agriculture and Food Science, the School of Business and Economics School of Computing & Informatics, the School of Education, the School of Engineering & Architecture, the School of Health Sciences, the School of Pure & Applied Sciences and the School of Nursing.
MUST became fully chartered on March 1, 2013, with Dr. James N. Mwangi serving as its first Chancellor.
The institution originated as the Meru University College of Science and Technology (MUCST), which was a constituent of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
