CITAM operates under governance structure designed to promote sound stewardship, accountability, and a separation between financial management and pastoral ministry.
The system is anchored in its constitution, which outlines a multi-level leadership framework that guides both spiritual and administrative operations.

At the top of the structure is the Annual Delegates Conference (ADC), which serves as the supreme governing organ of the church. The ADC is responsible for making key decisions that shape the overall direction, governance, and policies of the church.
It brings together representatives from across the church’s assemblies.
Below the ADC are the Regional Annual General Meetings (RAGMs), which operate at regional levels.
These meetings, supported by the Deacon Board, prepare and finalize decisions before submitting them to the ADC for approval and ratification.
The Deacon Board, consisting of twelve elected members, is responsible for overseeing legal and administrative matters within the church.
Its Council of Elders provides spiritual oversight, safeguarding the vision and mission of the church.
Day-to-day management of CITAM’s operations is executed under the supervision of the Presiding Bishop, who provides overall oversight of church assemblies through Senior Pastors and ministry coordinators. The Presiding Bishop also chairs both the ADC and RAGMs.
Administrative and operational management, including oversight of ministry activities and business units, is coordinated through the Director for Administration (DFA) programs.
