Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) ranked Petrocity Oil 10th in Kenya with a market share of 1.9%.
EPRA’s report for the financial year 2024/2025 revealed that the company sold 54,455 m³ of fuel.
The oil Company is owned by Petrocity Group, which specializes in a cost-effective logistics chain from Kenya to any corner of East and Central Africa.
Who owns Petrocity
Data published by the Uganda National Oil Suppliers shows that the Company is registered as Petrocity Enterprise Limited.
The company’s shareholders include Harish Asodia, Phenny Mwesigwa, Rishman Amanji, and Aman Jeferali Kurji.
Kurji is the Group’s managing director, while Asodi serves as the Group’s director.

Petrocity Group imports, exports, and stores all fuel products, including diesel, petrol, kerosene, LPG, and bitumen.
The group also provides bulk storage of LPG and operates cylinder refilling plants.
It has Service stations spread across different regions in Kenya and Uganda.
The Group’s terminals in Kenya and Uganda have a combined storage capacity of 84 million litres.
Petrocity cylinders branded as PETGAS are red and come in packages of 6 Kgs, 13 Kgs and 50 Kgs.
It provides a wide range of high-quality lubricants for trucks, cars and motorcycles.
We have a fleet of 100 Petroleum Tankers for transportation of bulk petroleum products within Kenya and neighboring countries.
Petrocity Group Investments in Kenya
In Kenya, the Group operates under the brand name Petrocity Enterprises Kenya Limited.
Petrocity Kenya has its headquarters in Mombasa, with retail petrol stations in Mombasa, Nairobi and Eldoret.
It operates a chain of petrol stations in Bombolulu, Rongai, Mavoko, Thika and Karen.
The Group also serves many large consumer and reseller clients in Kenya.

Business in Uganda
In Uganda, the Group has oil terminals at Kyengera and Kampala with a capacity to hold over 12 million liters.
Petrocity Group also owns 75 petrol stations spread across different parts of Uganda and an LPG storage of up to 70,000 kg.
It also has tank farms with a capacity of holding up to 72 million liters.
According to the Group, Uganda’s Oil Terminal boasts of being fully computerized using Accuload meters and the Dearman program for stock control and stock issuance.
Terminal distributes to our retail network and also supply large consumer industrial clients as well as many independent petrol station owners.
