She has built a reputation in Kenya’s legal and financial sectors, combining her expertise as a corporate lawyer with investments that place her among the top 10 wealthiest women in the country according to a 2018 Knight Frank report.
Additionally, the Billionaires Report Africa 2025 report has ranked her in the top 10 richest women in Kenya.
She is the founder and managing partner of Kimani & Michuki Advocates, a high-ranking corporate law firm in Kenya known for handling high-profile financial and commercial transactions.
Over the years, the firm has represented leading institutions in the banking, insurance, and investment sectors, cementing its position as one of the most respected legal practices in the country.

Michuki holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master’s degree in International Law and Development from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom.
She has a career of more than four decades, during which she has accumulated extensive experience in commercial law.
Her key areas of expertise include contract negotiations, security perfection, conveyancing, civil litigation, and financial negotiations.
She has also led teams in various international transactions, representing both local and foreign clients.
She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the East African Law Society.
One of her career highlights was serving on the legal team that oversaw the conversion of Equity Building Society into Equity Bank (Kenya) Limited.
Investments and Business Influence
Beyond her legal practice, Michuki has established herself as a seasoned investor.
She holds a significant stake in Britam Insurance, where she owns 7.1 percent valued at about Ksh1.3 billion ($9.4 million).
In 2018, she had a larger stake, 9.5 percent, through an investment company where she owned 44.4 percent, a holding then valued at more than Ksh5.4 billion.
Additionally, her investments extend to other regional giants, including Equity Bank, making her a prominent figure on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).
