A popular businessman is in mourning after his wife succumbed due to alleged medical negligence.
According to reports, the businessman’s spouse was scheduled for cosmetic surgery but was operated on by a doctor who performed the surgery wrongfully.
Reports indicate that her intestines were perforated as a result of the botched surgery and her stool leaked into the stomach causing a very bad infection which resulted in her death.
According to social media influencer Amira, following the infection, she was rushed to a city hospital where she went for another surgery to try and clean the stomach where they found the intestines were perforated 5 times.

Following her death, Kenyans sent messages of condolences to a popular car dealer in Nairobi, led by former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
“Accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your lovely wife. May the Almighty God cover you and your entire family with His unending grace. May He provide you with the strength to accept her passing,” he stated.

“My family will dearly miss her, especially the good times we shared during the holidays. I will never forget how she campaigned for me and mobilized the people of Shelly Beach, Likoni, to support me when I was contesting for the Mombasa gubernatorial race. May her soul rest with the angels,” Sonko expressed.
Another social media user, Wekesa, also extended his condolences to the family and friends.
Additionally, other social media users cautioned women about the dangers of plastic surgery. Instagram influencer Amira, who posted about the circumstances surrounding the businessman’s death, remarked, “I hope this post saves many people out there.”
Kenyans react to the lady’s death
“Plastic surgery is beautiful but make sure you are getting it done by professionals,” Amira said.
Austin Omondi, a user on X, called for stronger regulations for clinics offering plastic surgery. He commented, “Cosmetic clinics are opening up like kiosks in uptown Nairobi, promoting procedures like BBLs, liposuction, and tummy tucks. However, these clinics need better regulation, as they are putting unsuspecting Kenyans at risk of lifelong complications and even death.”

Another user, Bravin Yuri, encouraged women to adopt healthier lifestyles rather than turning to plastic surgery.
“Shortcuts are very dangerous in life. Just the other day I was talking about how Kenyan celebrities are normalizing these cosmetic surgeries and making it seem like a “cute” thing to do. Every problem should not be solved via surgery. Make lifestyle changes. It’s for your good,” Yuri urged.
