The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection announced 410 job positions on the evening of Friday, December 6, inviting Kenyans to attend interviews.
In a statement, Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua urged qualified Kenyans to take advantage of this opportunity.
“The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection is pleased to announce exciting job opportunities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through a reputable employer. This initiative reflects our commitment to connecting Kenyans with quality employment opportunities abroad while ensuring their safety, welfare, and compliance with labour laws,” the statement read.
According to the Ministry, physical interviews will take place on Saturday December 7, at 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

1.Civil Foreman – 8 positions
Salary: Ksh 105,581.25 per month
2.Senior Supervisor – 2 positions
Salary: Ksh 193,565.62 per month
3.Steel Fixer – 200 positions
Salary: Ksh 38,713.12 per month + Overtime
4.Shuttering Carpenter – 200 positions
Salary: 38,713.12 per month + Overtime
The terms and conditions of the employment include:

- Contract Duration of 2 years which is renewable.
- Probation Period of 6 months
- Place of Work: United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Mutua highlights benefits of the UAE employment
Benefits of the employment will include:
- Free accommodation, food, and transportation provided by the employer.
- Leave, medical cover, and insurance as per UAE labour laws.
- 30 days of annual leave for every completed year.
- Cash allowance of Ksh19,356.56 annually (after 2 years, Ksh 38,713.12payable pro-rata).
- Free air ticket provided upon completion of the contract.
- Working Hours: 8 hours per day (overtime as per UAE labour laws).
This announcement comes days after Labour Cabinet Secretary on Thursday December 5 Mutua announced 600 jobs for boda boda riders and 500 nannies in Dubai.
In a statement on Thursday, December 5, the CS stated that officials from a United Arab Emirates company would be in Kenya the following week to interview and hire the motorcycle riders.
Further, the notice indicated that for 26 working days a month, the riders will receive a salary of 2,925 dirhams (approximately 104,000 Kenyan shillings, tax-free).
