The Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency, has announced 32 job openings, including positions for drivers and 26 other roles in various departments. In a Tuesday, April 29 notice, Central Rift Valley Water Works called on qualified and motivated Kenyans to apply for the opportunities.
Further, the notice detailed that the jobs vary from technical, administrative, and support services. The move is part of the agency’s commitment to strengthening water and sanitation infrastructure in the region.
“Established in May 2016 under the Water Act 2016, Central Rift Valley Water Works plays a crucial role in the development and management of water and sanitation infrastructure within its jurisdiction,
“In line with its mission to strengthen water service delivery, the Agency is now hiring for 27 distinct roles, spanning both technical and administrative departments,” read the notice in part.

Drivers and Other Jobs Advertised
At the senior management level, the agency is seeking to fill the role of General Manager for Infrastructure Development and Management, a position responsible for overseeing water project execution and systems improvement.
Additionally, in the engineering department, Central Rift Valley Water Works is recruiting Principal Engineers in Civil Engineering, Engineers I in both Civil and Mechanical Engineering, and an Inspector in Water Engineering.
On the other hand, the agency is looking for a sociologist II, Senior Accountant II, Accounts Assistant II, and Water Quality Officer II to enhance its ability to operate in compliance with technical, financial, and social standards.
Other technical positions include a Hydro-Geologist II and a Land Economist II.
Also, Administrative and communications departments will also see new additions, with vacancies for Senior Administrative Officer, Senior Office Administrator, Corporate Communications Officer II, and a Corporate Communications Assistant III.
The agency is also recruiting for Records Management, Partnerships and Resource Mobilization, Supply Chain Management, and Internal Audit roles.
CRVWWDA is looking for Office Assistant III and Information Communication Technology Assistant III, and four individuals for Driver II positions and one for Driver I position.
