Kiriri Women’s University of Science and Technology on Friday November 22, advertised various job opportunities cutting across all its departments.
In the job advertisement, the institution asked qualified and interested Kenyans to apply before the deadline.
“Kiriri Women’s University of Science and Technology is a Chartered Women’s University of academic excellence, intellectual growth, and research in the scientific formations,” part of the job advert read.
According to the notice, applicants are invited to fill the following positions in the following schools:
Vacancies announced in Kiriri Women’s University of Science and Technology
- School of Education (Subjects: English, English Literature, Kiswahili, Geography, and French)
- School of Computer Science and Information Technology
- School of Hospitality Management
- School of Business and Management (Specializations: Accounting, Economics, and Procurement)
The positions advertised include Academic Positions which constitutes Tutorial Fellows, Lecturers and Senior lecturers.
Requirements for Tutorial Fellows:
- A master’s degree from an accredited university in the relevant field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching experience.
- Registration for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or an equivalent doctoral degree qualification.
- Demonstrated potential for university teaching and research.

Requirements for Lecturers:
- A PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field.
- At least four (4) years of teaching experience at the university level.
- A minimum of four equivalent publication points.
- Registration with a professional body (where applicable).
Requirements for Senior Lecturers:
- A PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from a recognized university.
- At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a Lecturer.
- Accumulation of at least six equivalent publication points and successful supervision of four (4) postgraduate students.
- Proven ability to attract research funding.
Administrative Positions

ADVERT
- Security Supervisor
- A bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in security management.
- Valid security certifications.
- Ability to implement strategic security policies, supervise personnel and assets, and mitigate potential risks and threats.
- Security Guards
- National Youth Service (NYS) training certificate, Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of three (3) years of proven experience as a security guard.
- Hospitality Supervisor
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field from a recognized institution.
- At least five (5) years of experience in housekeeping management.
- Clerk of Works
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in construction oversight, inspection, or site management.

Interested applicants should submit two copies of application letters together with copies of CV, certificates, academic transcripts and testimonials to the address given below, the names and addresses of three (3) referees one of whom should be your present or previous employer, and the applicant should clearly indicate their current remuneration package.
