Alfah Miruka is the elected Member of Parliament for Bomachoge Chache Constituency in Kisii County.
He was first elected to the National Assembly in August 2017 under the Jubilee Party and was re-elected in the August 2022 general election on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket.
Since he entered Parliament, Alfah Miruka has been actively involved in legislative work and constituency development, especially in the areas of infrastructure, education, and health.

Educational Background of Alfah Miruka
Alfah Miruka began his education at Getare Primary School, where he sat for his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) in 1996.
He attended Nyakeiri High School from 1997 to 2000 and earned his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
In 2001, he joined the Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT), where he studied Civil Engineering and graduated with a diploma in 2003.
Alfah Miruka later advanced his education by enrolling at the University of Nairobi. He pursued a bachelor’s degree in project planning and management between 2013 and 2016.
In 2019, he returned to the same university for postgraduate studies and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Project Planning and Management.
Career life
Before joining politics, Alfah Miruka worked in both the private and public sectors.
From 2005 to 2007, he was a Roads Inspector at High Bisan Construction Company, where he was involved in the Bumala–Port Victoria road project.
Between 2008 and 2015, he worked as a Works Officer and later as a Town Engineer at Ogembo Town Council under the Ministry of Local Government.
He also engaged in self-employment between 2013 and 2017, managing construction works and dairy farming.
His transition into politics was marked by his successful bid for the parliamentary seat in 2017, where he pledged to focus on infrastructure, education, and youth empowerment in Bomachoge Chache.
