James Leiro Letangule is a Kenyan who was shortlisted for the position of member of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
He appeared before the IEBC Selection Panel chaired by Dr. Nelson Makanda on April 8, 2025.
James Leiro Academic Qualifications
James Leiro holds a PhD in Business Administration from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
He also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Management from the same institution in 2023.
Additionally, he holds a Master of Science degree in Health Economics and Policy from the University of Nairobi, obtained in 2018.
He began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Systems Management from Kenya Methodist University in 2015.
Work Experience
He is currently serving as a Manager at the Social Health Authority, a position he has held since 2024.
Prior to this, he was the Manager of the Division of Claims Management at the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) from 2020 to 2024.
From 2011 to 2015, he worked as a Quality Assurance Officer at NHIF and also served as the In-Charge of Siana Health Centre in Narok County.
