Jonathan Ltipalei holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Nairobi, awarded in 2020.
He also earned a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the same institution in 2010.
Jonathan academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Public Administration, which he completed at the University of Nairobi in 1993.
In addition, he holds a Diploma in Resource Management and Community Development from Premese Africa, earned in 2001.
Career Background
Jonathan Ltipalei is currently serving as the Vice-Chairperson of the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA), a position he has held since 2018.
Prior to this, he was the Director of Enablers and Macro Directorate and Infrastructure Development at the Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat from 2011 to 2018.
Between 2008 and 2011, he served as the Chief Research Officer at the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Previously, in his career, from 2004 to 2007, he worked as a Consultant on the Electoral Process, contributing to democratic governance and institutional strengthening.
