Mary Emaase Otucho is a Kenyan politician and current Member of Parliament for Teso South Constituency in Busia County.
She first entered politics by being elected as the Woman Representative for Busia County in 2013.
Mary Emaase is noted as the first woman MP from the Teso community.

Mary Emaase began her education at Aterait Primary School, followed by Morukamosing Primary School, where she completed her primary education between 1976 and 1978.
She then attended St. Monica Chakol Girls, earning her lower secondary certificate (Division II) from 1983 to 1986, and her A-level equivalent (three principals and one subsidiary subject) between 1987 and 1988.
Later, she pursued higher education at Kenyatta University, obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree between 1989 and 1992.
Since 2016, she has been pursuing an Executive Master’s degree at the same university.

Mary Emaase began her professional career in 1993, serving as a Senior Accountant in the Judiciary until 2012.
During this same period, she also worked as an Accountant at Joginder Auto Services.
She entered elective politics in 2013, becoming the Women Representative for Busia County, a position she held until 2017.
During her first term, she served as Vice Chairperson of the Budget and Appropriations Committee and was a member of the Finance Committee.
After a brief hiatus following her 2017 election loss, Mary Emaase returned to Parliament in August 2022 as Member of Parliament for Teso South Constituency, representing the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
