Maurice Kakai Bisau is the current Member of Parliament for Kiminini Constituency, elected under the Democratic Action Party–Kenya (DAP-K) in the 2022 general elections.
He assumed office on August 16, 2022, and serves in the 13th Parliament of Kenya.
Educational Background
Maurice Kakai earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the United States International University–Africa (USIU-A) between 1996 and 1999.
In 2009, he joined Lugano University in Switzerland, graduating in 2010 with a master’s in Advanced Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
He also holds a master’s degree in Sociology (Disaster Management option) from the University of Nairobi.

Career
Maurice Kakai began his professional career in 2001 as the Head of Supplies at AMREF, serving until 2002.
He then worked for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in various roles and countries from 2002 to 2017.
In 2018, he was appointed as an Advisor on Infrastructure, Energy, and ICT to the Deputy President under the Office of the President, a role he held until 2022.
In the August 2022 general elections, he was elected as the Member of Parliament for Kiminini Constituency on a Democratic Action Party–Kenya (DAP-K) ticket.
He is also a registered member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supplies.
