Alamitu Guyo Jattani is a Kenyan who was shortlisted for the position of member of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). She is the wife of Governor Mohamud Ali, Marsabit County.

Guyo was brought up in a humble background. She was the daughter of a watchman in Nairobi and was once on the brink of dropping out of school.
Her father earned a meagre salary of Ksh400 at the time, and was unable to raise the Ksh1, 300 school fee.

She credits her education to the Catholic nuns who paid her fees at Our Lady of Mercy Secondary School, Nairobi.
Alamitu Guyo Academic Qualifications
Alamitu Guyo holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Nairobi, which he earned in 2014.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Nairobi, graduating in 2004.
Further, in 2017 she graduated with a Diploma in Project Management from Galilee International Management Institute.
Guyo has earned a Certificate in Finance of International Trade from the Institute of Export in 2011.
Work Experience
Guyo has been working as the Chairperson of Counties First Ladies Association, a position she has held since 2022.
Further, she is the Founder of Mama Guyo Foundation, a foundation that she started in 2016.
Prior to that she worked as a Manager Corporate Planning and Project Management at the Geothermal Development Company from 2014 to 2018.
Alamitu worked as a Manager, Finance and Administration at Quanti Bill Consultant from 2012 to 2016.
Family
Alamitu is married to Mohamud Ali.
