Brighton Yegon Leonard is a Kenyan politician and the current Member of Parliament for Konoin Constituency.
He was first elected in August 2017 on a Jubilee Party ticket and re-elected in 2022 on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket.

Brighton Yegon started his primary education at Kericho Boys, where he spent his youth days from 1990 to 1996, when he obtained his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).
He then later joined Tengecha High School in 1997, where he obtained his certificate upon completion in 2001.
Later, he joined Moi University in 2002 and pursued a Bachelor of Science, Information Science, which he completed in 2006.
Brighton Yegon holds a Master of Science in Records Management and Archives Administration from Kenyatta University and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Science at Kisii University.

Before joining Parliament, Yegon worked in academia.
He served as a sessional lecturer at the Technical University of Kenya between 2013 and 2016.
Additionally, he served as a faculty associate lecturer at Mount Kenya University from 2011 to 2016.
He was also an assistant lecturer and later assistant registrar at Kenya Methodist University from 2007 to 2017.
Brighton Yegon was elected to parliament in 2017 and was later reelected for a second term in parliament in 2022.
In his first term in Parliament, he was a member of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture and Livestock.
He has received County Gala Awards in both 2021 and 2022 for his contributions to public service.
