CELESTINE RONO 

Celestine Rono Jeruto is a Kenyan currently serving as Director of Corporate Services at the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency.

Rono was shortlisted for the position of a member of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

She appeared before the IEBC Selection Panel chaired by Dr. Nelson Makanda on April 1, 2025.

Rono is a member of the Nandi County Executive Audit Committee.

She is also a member of the Taskforce to Investigate Underlying Causes of Accumulation of Unsold Tea at the Ministry of Agriculture.

Rono Work Experience

Prior to this, she served as Chief Manager, Corporate Strategy, Research and Advocacy at Export Promotion Council of Kenya from October 2018 to July 2019.

She served as the Council’s Manager, Corporate Strategy and Performance Management between July 2018 and August 2018.

Rono was the Head of Finance at Anti Counterfeit Agency between July 2010 and January 2018.

She worked as Business Development Officer at Kenya Women Finance Trust from September 2009 and May 2010.

She started her career in 2009 as an Accounts Assistant at Eastern Kenya Limited.

Academic Qualifications

Rono holds a Master of Business Administration Degree in Strategic Management from Kenyatta University.

She also has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of Eastern Africa Baraton.
