Previously, she worked as the Director of Audit at the office of the Auditor General in Kenya from 2014 to 2020

Moreover, she served as the Deputy Director of Audit at the Kenya National Audit Office from 2010 to 2014.

During her tenure, she provided leadership in various Directorates at the Office of the Auditor General.

From 2000-2006, she was Senior Auditor of Internal Audit at the Kenyatta National Hospital.

She is serving as a member of the Women Accountants of Kenya Association and capacity building for Supreme Audit Institutions.

Additionally, according to the Salaries Remuneration Commission gazette notice, the Auditor general earns a basic salary of Ksh574,200 Kenyan shillings with an addition of Ksh200,000 for house allowance.
