Biography
Raila Junior is a Kenyan businessman and the son of the Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga and Ida Odinga.

He comes from an affluent family with Raila Odinga as his father and Ida Odinga as his mother. He is also the brother to the late Fidel Odinga, Rosemary Odinga and Winnie Odinga.
However, Raila Junior has preferred to stay on the sidelines when it comes to politics.
Education background
The successful businessman graduated with a BA Hon’s in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wales in 2002.
In 2004, he got an MSc Finance from the University of Leeds.
Career
In a past interview with local media, Junior mentioned that just like any other Kenyan, he puts in the work as he has bills to pay and meet his daily needs.
He further disclosed that his first job as an accountant earned him Ksh10,000 per month, and he took pride in his hard work.
He has often mentioned that he is a businessman. In addition to managing the family business, he serves as the CEO and executive producer of Creative Hub, a production company specializing in creating advertisements for mainstream media.
Contrary to popular belief that he has an easy life, Junior insists that this is not the case. Nonetheless, he acknowledges that people tend to have higher expectations of him simply because of his name.
According to him, this means he has to put in more effort and ensure he does an exceptional job.
Growing up in a political family, many assumed he would naturally gravitate towards politics. However, in a 2019 interview with a renowned media personality, he shared that politics was not in his immediate plans; instead, he was focused on expanding his business at the time.
