Nigerian Singer Asake has gifted himself a brand-new Tesla Cybertruck to celebrate his 30th birthday.
Taking to his Instagram account, the singer posted a photo of himself inside the high-end car stating that it was his birthday gift and went ahead to thank the Tesla automobile company.
“Birthday gift, appreciate Tesla Motors,” stated Asake.
The luxury vehicle is electric and is known for its advanced technology, sleek design. It was unveiled in November 2019 by Tesla Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Elon Musk. The Tesla Cybertruck drew significant attention due to its unconventional design.
Asake buys a Ksh18 million car
Asake’s car design entails sharp angles and has a wedge shape. The truck is wide and has a cabin and the bed joined into a continuous shape. This differs from other trucks that have rounded corners and a separation between the cabin and the bed.

The Tesla Cybertruck has, however, been banned in the UK for failing to meet the UK road regulations.
According to UK road regulations, the truck is not approved for use on their roads because of its sharp angles, lack of side indicators, and flat front end. These features do not meet the European safety standard.
The car’s estimated cost is Ksh18 million.

Asake, whose full name is Ahmade Ololade Asake is an Afrobeats singer and songwriter. His music style entails a blend of Afrobeat, Fuji, and Amapiano. He rose to the limelight in 2020 with his song ‘Lady’.
His biggest breakthrough came in 2022 through his debut album, ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe’, which features great hits like ‘Terminator’ and ‘Lonely at the Top’.
The ‘Bandana’ hitmaker boasts 1.51 million subscribers on YouTube.
