Popular entrepreneur Dama wa Spares has shared a cryptic message after her cousin named Bonnie recently opened his mobile phone accessories business.
The cousin, whom she refers to as her ‘brother’, worked as the operations manager at Dama’s shop before he decided to quit and venture into his own business.

In her cryptic message, the businesswoman warned against turning against one’s siblings. She also warned her fans to “never break a pot that once gave you water”.
“Never allow anyone to separate you from your siblings in the name of loyalty. Never break a pot that once gave you water. Never betray anyone who made an effort to help you rise,” she posted.

“Never punch holes in an umbrella that once gave you shelter, always prioritize family over friendship,” she added.
Her ‘brother’ Bonnie opened a mobile spares shop that has a striking resemblance to hers in Githurai.

Additionally, the name of his shop closely resembles that of his former boss.
This made Dama’s fans and supporters notice the similarity in their company names from Dama mobile spares to Danma Mobile spares.

Twists and Turns
A section of Kenyans reacting to Dama’s message now allege that an outsider had sparked a rivalry between the two former associates.
During the launch of the Danma Shop, Bonnie had invited popular presenter and televangelist Bishop Ben Kiengei who previously fell out with Dama to pray and dedicate his business.
Kiengei arrived in a luxurious car to show his support for Bonnie to spark speculations among her fans.

Fans Shows Support to Dama
Fans have since shared consoling messages to the Dama Spares proprietor, with most of them urging her to fight for her company’s name.
Moreover, her supporters have advised her to have a sit down with her cousin and discuss way forward.
However, her critics have publicly alluded that she is bitter with Bonnie’s recent growth in business.
