The Kenyan online community is mourning the sudden death of popular TikToker Liz Kamene, known as KambaIcon, following a tragic accident.
According to witnesses, Kambalcon was involved in a grisly road accident over the weekend.

Initial reports suggested that she was hit by a vehicle while chasing thieves who had stolen her phone at around 5:00 AM.
However, new details have raised questions about the exact circumstances surrounding her death.

While some insist that she was involved in an accident, others believe further investigation is needed to clarify what truly happened.
According to witnesses, the accident left the TikTok influencer with extensive bodily injuries. She is described to have had multiple fractures and severe body deformation.
Also, some of her clothes were torn when her body was discovered along Outer Ring Road at the Rounda area.
According to her online fans, there could be more to her death that is being intimated so far. Moreover, it is unclear whether Kambalcon was on her way to work or whether she was going back home.
They have called on authorities to review CCTV footages from establishments around the area to expose exactly what transpired.

Comparison to Brian Chira’s Death
The Kenyan TikTok community has likened the accident to one that ended the life of popular TikToker Brian Chira in March 2024.
Chira was involved in hit and run accident in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 16, at the Karuri area in Kiambu County, and died on the spot.
According to the police, Chira alighted from a motorbike and ran to the main road, where he was hit by an oncoming vehicle, leaving him with serious head injuries.
As investigations into the death of KambaIcon continue, the family of Ladi Anzaki Olubunmi, a Nigerian woman who was working as a TikTok content moderator in Kenya, are demanding answers after she was found dead on Friday, March 7, under unclear circumstances.
Ladi was employed by Teleperformance, a firm contracted to moderate TikTok content in Nairobi.
According to some of her coworkers, Ladi had repeatedly requested leave but was denied.
They claim she had been struggling with stress and exhaustion because of the demanding nature of her job.
