Barely a week after Kenyans on social media called out celebrities for their deceitful clout-chasing shenanigans, ex-socialite Alhuda Sonie Njoroge, aka Huddah Monroe, is in the spotlight for allegedly faking her lifestyle.
Huddah Monroe is facing accusations from netizens this week who claims she has been using other people’s photos to fake her lifestyle on Instagram. The socialite has refuted these claims and defended her innocence.

- She was accused of carrying a fake designer bag a few years ago. After posting a photo of herself without makeup, a netizen noticed a Gucci handbag and accused her of posing with a fake designer bag. Huddah responded by lashing out at the netizen and defending herself.
- In 2019, Huddah claimed that she had appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, but it was later revealed that she had only modelled a few designer items in a published article.
- Huddah recently claimed to be three months pregnant after appearing to have a tummy in a video she shared while club-hosting in Kenya. However, she later denied being pregnant after the news went viral.
- Huddah was accused of borrowing someone else’s Instagram photo to pretend she was on a flight to Paris. She responded to the claims by laughing them off and warning that she would take drastic action against those who spread false information about her.
