In a viral video, Mugithi star Samidoh introduced Senator Karen Nyamu as his baby mama at a public gathering in Nakuru.
The two were attending the burial ceremony of Geoffrey Mwathi, Samidoh’s nephew, who died on the 22nd of February. Jeff, as his friends fondly called him, was a student at Nibs college at the time of his death. According to his eulogy, the firstborn of two sons was obedient and hardworking.

While addressing his family and the villagers present, Samidoh informs the crowd that Mama Wairimu wants to say hi before inviting Karen to address them. An elated Karen then picked up the microphone and introduced herself as Karen Njeri, a senator in the country.

This is the first public appearance after Samidoh’s wife, Edday, penned an emotional message on social media, stating how tired she was of their “affair” and the Senator’s disrespect towards her marriage. Edday and Samidoh are blessed with three children.
“I have helped you nature your talent and supported you through it all, but one thing I have said to you and I am saying here again I will not raise my kids in a polygamy family, especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10 years, has no morals and zero respect to my family,”

Their relationship status remains unknown amidst the controversial scene. From Baby mama to second wife to just friends, the titles fluctuate depending on the occasion. Confused fans have since urged the singer to take a stand and officiate things now that their on-and-off ‘affair’ is no longer a secret.
Karen and Samidoh have two children together.
