Sauti Sol boyband dropped their curtains on the evening of Saturday, November 4, 2023, with a final concert as they marked an end to their musical era together.
The farewell concert, a poignant and heartfelt affair, unfolded at the iconic Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi, as the boyband held a stunning performance.
Sauti Sol, one of the country’s iconic music groups which consists of Bien Baraza, Polycarp Otieno, Savara Mudigi and Austin Chimano thrilled their fans in a sold-out concert as they performed one last time as a band.
Further, the two-day performance saw more than twenty thousand fans attend the event which went down in Nairobi on November 2, and 4, 2023.
Kenyan Artists at Sol Fest
The Sol fest saw highly Ranked Kenyan rapper and singer Nyashinski, perform on stage with Sauti Sol which brought the crown to a standstill.

Other artists who graced the show include Nviiri and Bensoul whom Sauti Sol had featured in previous albums.
The artists pulled out several hit songs which brought the house singing along to every lyric.
Sauti Sol Sold out TicketsÂ
Likewise, the tickets which were going for Ksh 20,000 VIP and later rose after getting sold out to Ksh 25,000 saw the who is who flood the star-studded event.
On the other part the VIP package included a 5-star banquet style dinner, complimentary welcome drinks, intimate performance by Sauti Sol, exclusive Sauti Sol merchandise pack, inclusive of Sauti Sol meet and greet.

Likewise, the regular tickets were priced at KSh 6,500. Thi category of tickets according to Sauti Sol attracted fifteen thousand fans.
Despite high ticket prices, the event saw a huge turnout of fans, with the tickets being sold out within hours of opening.Â

Notably, the band which got into the music space 20 years ago, serving pure entertainment in Kenya and across the world is set to go separate ways in what they say is a music hiatus.
“While the indefinite hiatus marks the end of a specific chapter, it also represents a new beginning for Sauti Sol,” stated Sauti Sol.
Additionally, the band shared with their fans their next step as they exit the music industry.

“As close friends and business partners, the band members, Bien-Aime Baraza, Willis Chimano, Polycarp Otieno, and Savara Mudigi, are eager to explore fresh creative avenues and embark on personal endeavors,” read the statement by Sauti Sol.
Likewise, the band stole the soul of Kenyans and the world with hit after another, further winning international awards among them the Best African Act at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards.
